Red Horse Inn

We enjoyed a two-night getaway at this clean, pleasant boutique motel walking distance to the Island Queen ferry and several restaurants and stores. Our room had a fridge, microwave, quiet AC, adorable little gas fireplace, and a spacious jacuzzi! Aaaaaaahhhhhhh! Plus, the shower was perfect! How often can you say that? Their “barn,” located in a patio area, is where you find continental breakfast, as well as all-day tea and coffee, jigsaw puzzles and board games, corkscrews and wine glasses, and so forth. I assume that during the summer, people can meet and greet and be as social as they want inside the barn or just outside in their patio area, but we were there in October so we had the barn all to ourselves! Cindy was a pleasant and friendly host who has a cute little dog, who we bet is the real supervisor!

What a hidden gem in the wonderful town of Falmouth. The rooms are cute and comfortable. The service is outstanding and the GM and Manager are wonderful. There is a common area called "The Barn" that is a fun place to relax, have a drink (BYOB) and eat free continental breakfast. Dairy Queen and 7-Eleven are right around the corner as is the Raw Bar which is a great place. For the more ambulatory crowd, you can walk to the beach or town ... but our suggestion is to bring a bike which can be used for that purpose or to ride the Shining Sea Bikeway which is 10.7 mile bike trail along the coast.

I had the best stay at this very cute Inn! My boyfriend and I were in town for a wedding and stayed here for the weekend. There is also a charming area called The Barn (part of the Inn) where you can sit and relax. Breakfast is offered from 7-10 and fresh muffins and bagels are provided! The fridge is stocked with plenty of orange and cranberry juice as well as yogurt and cream cheese. There is coffee and hot water for tea and ice on the side of the building. I highly recommend The Red Horse Inn and hope to return some day! The owner is kind and welcoming!

If anyone complains about this place, they live in a gold palace in Dubai. From the aggressive politeness that is trademark of anyone from MA thoroughly and pleasantly demonstrated by the very sweet lady at the Front Desk, to the lil doggy who came out from the back office area to greet me with kisses, to the location, and the amenities, this place WILL BE the place I stay at when I visit Falmouth. The hot tub is soothing, the fireplace is cozy, and the bed is blissfully comfortable. Room #5 is My Room when I come back. Thank you for making my replacement plans after the tragic shootings in Maine just as spectacular!

Nice little historic hotel built in 1933. it's very clean and nice. it's got an old school new England charm to it. rooms come with a big fridge and microwave to heat food in. The complimentary breakfast was amazing and greatly appreciated. and Cindy, the lady running the place, is a sweet heart! she's very nice and friendly. I would recommend staying if you are in the area and for a great price.

My boyfriend and I just stayed at the Red Horse Inn recently; we like to explore different parts of the cape and this was our first time in Falmouth. Absolutely loved it here. The owner was extremely sweet and welcoming. We loved that we were located just minutes from everything: Dunkin, Starbucks, Walgreens, other stores and restaurants, the downtown shopping area, and even the ferry we took one day to Martha’s Vineyard. Yet the street itself was quiet and had a nice residential feel to it. Our room was super clean and cozy. We had the room with the fireplace, which was put to use every night after a day of venturing 😊 The free breakfast in the barn area was a nice addition, especially the homemade muffins. While it’s not some upscale and fancy hotel, it’s everything you and your partner need for an enjoyable experience and welcoming experience. Really felt like the perfect vacation stay, and we talked about going back again! ❤️
